lyrics
Lyrics -
So long ago, we ran and played together in the falling snow
Her pretty face - and her hands in mittens wrapped around my waist
That winter's night we kissed each other underneath the dim street light
At Christmas time
Black submarines are hiding in the ocean on this Christmas Eve
And our little wars are as damaging as battles fought on distant shores
All I want is to kiss the waitress at the local haunt
Half the world is weeping, half the world is sleeping
What in the world could be more important than love
This winter's night we're gathered here together in the fire light
The winter's chill is gone and for a little while the wind is still
This winter's night we are free of all the problems of our lives
It's Christmas time for just a while
Don't wonder why or wonder how
For Christmas bells are ringing out right now
One day in December, why can't this Christmas go on forever

Yet another gem from The Green Pajamas. Excellent song progression keeps me listening right to the end. True to the bands Psych roots with edgy guitar and instrumental hi-jinks, the lyrics transport me to past memories and travels, real and imagined. There is a story book quality to each album and Sunlight Might Weigh Even More delivers again. James DayWalker
